Safety: Please be safe when coming to/from SFGD. If you would like to be accompanied to your bus/train stop or car, please let a greeter know. Designate a driver if driving.

Summer Solstice is just a few weeks away, and with it comes the bliss of the longest day of the year. We decided to tilt the axis of San Francisco Green Drinks and take a crack at creating some bliss ourselves. Our team has lined up some great music, food and new ways for you to get linked in to the community.

In the music line up are two amazing DJ’s, Unkle Funkl and Duserock (read more about them below). When you’re not dancing, drop by Power Source Cafe’s table to sample some scrumptious organic treats. As always, be sure to bring your business cards. You can now reach out to our connectivity team who is working on ways to help you meet the people you are looking for – deal makers, customers, potential employers.

DJ’s

Unkle Funkl
He’s the uncle you love but the one you have to keep an eye on. He’ll raid the liquor cabinet and torment the neighbors. Mark Sires, aka Unkle Funkl, has been DJing for 12 years, bringing breaks, midtempo, funk, and hip hop. Recently graduating from the Bainbridge Graduate School with an MBA in Sustainability, Mark brings stewardship to all that he does.

Duserock
Since 1992, Duserock has consistently played nationally and abroad. He has opened for the likes of Sting and Sheryl Crow and shared decks with DJ’s J Boogie, Turntables On The Hudson, Photek, Dtek, Swingsett, Dubtribe and many more.

* We are incredibly grateful to the hard-working folks that organized Green Career Connections hosted by SF Green Drinks! They pulled off an amazing and valuable event on May 19 with over 25 employers who represented 100 open positions. It was attended by 300 job seekers! Green Career Connection was the first SFGD sponsored event, and we are truly proud of its’ success!
